Eid ul Fitar:
Literally means:
In Arabic language the literally means of Eid is a “festival” or “feast”.
Definition:
Eid ul Fitar is a scared event of Muslims. Traditionally, Eid al-Fitr begins at the sunset on the night of the first sighting of the crescent moon. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the Muslim's holy month of fasting, and is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwal, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. It is the day of happiness for the Muslims.
Eid ul Fitar prayer:
On this day Muslims wear new and beautiful cloths and offer Eid prayer. Eid prayer offers in a large place or open field. Eid prayer consists of two Rakats and six Takbirs(Three Takbirs at the beginning of first Rakat and three in the second Rakat before ruku. In Takbirs Muslims raise their hands to ears while saying Allahu Akbar(الله أكبر) which means Allah is the greatest.
Eid ul Fitar special dish:
The special dish of Eid ul Fitar in Pakistan is sawaya. Although rice pudding kheer, Gulab jamun mithai and sheer khurma andany other dishes are made on this day.
Celebrations of Eid ul Fitar:
The celebrations of Eid al-Fitr typically last for three days, one day fewer than that of Eid ul-Adha. For this reason It is also known as Smaller Eid(choti Eid). On this day children accept gifts and Eidi from adults in form of money. People go to parks, markets and other beautiful places for enjoyment. There is a big crowed of people on the shops, streets and markets.
Importance of Eid ul Fitar:
• Eid provides happiness to Muslims
• Eid is the day of forgiveness so Muslims forgive and embrace each other.
• Muslim go meat their relatives at their homes.
• Children are very happy on this day because their adults give them gifts and Eidi in the form of money.

Eid ul Fitar is the most important event for Muslims. All the people are happy on this Holy day. Eid ul Fitar is the day of forgiveness for Muslims.
